QUOTES
“I think, needless to say, I enjoyed racing out there today. It was very demanding from every point of view. The last few restarts were pretty aggressive out there, so I had to push my elbows out. The pace was good. We had a bit of an unfortunate moment with a [right-rear tire rub], but we made our way back. We were running 12th for quite a few laps. To be able to finish 15th in my first-ever Xfinity Series race feels very good. I think it’s a strong result considering my experience with stock car racing and NASCAR racing. Of course, in the future, I want more. This morning, I was improving every lap in practice and in qualifying. I’m very happy about today, so thanks to Sam Hunt Racing for providing a competitive and reliable car which allowed me to run between 10th and 15th quite consistently. Hopefully we will have more fun in the future.”
