TriMech Group expands its partnership with Sam Hunt Racing, acting as associate partner of the No. 26 Thompson Pipe Group GR Supra at Texas Motor Speedway in May.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 13, 2026) - Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) announces today that TriMech Group, Sam Hunt Racing’s official technology partner, will serve as an associate partner aboard the No. 26 Thompson Pipe Group GR Supra of Dean Thompson at Texas Motor Speedway on May 2. TriMech is a leading technology and business solutions partner for designers, engineers, and manufacturers who announced a formal partnership with Sam Hunt Racing in September of 2025.

“From the moment TriMech came on board and became the team’s official technology partner, we began seeing the needle of performance move,” said Jesse Little, VP of Business Development at Sam Hunt Racing, “Whether it’s back in the shop or out on the racetrack, we see the effort and support of this partnership paying off. I’m thrilled that they are back on the #26 TPG race car, and look forward to having a wonderful weekend with them in Texas.”

TriMech Group will be taking part in heavy activation ahead of and during Texas Motor Speedway race weekend, including an open-to-the-public event on Wednesday, April 28 at their Austin, Texas office.

The Connect, Create, Innovate Forward Event is an afternoon designed to bring engineers, designers, inventors and innovation together. Additionally, Sam Hunt Racing drivers and executive leadership will be participating in autograph signings and panel discussions, including a Q&A session with Harrison Burton and Dean Thompson.

During the race weekend, TriMech will be visible on the lower rear quarter panels of Dean Thompson’s No. 26 GR Supra. Additionally, the engineering group will have presence in the garage area as TriMech leadership and guests will be attending the race event on May 2."At TriMech, we thrive on solving complex engineering challenges, and working with Sam Hunt Racing gives us the perfect proving ground. Every scan, every model, every workflow improvement is about unlocking speed and reliability on track," said Conner Janeteas, TriMech 's Advanced Manufacturing Manager of Innovation. "We’re excited to celebrate our combined successes with fans in Austin and at Texas Motor Speedway as we continue pushing performance forward."

As previously announced last September, TriMech provided Sam Hunt Racing a Zeiss T-Scan Hawk 2 3D Hand Scanner and full technological support to SHR, drastically improving the organization’s competitive performance and efficiency. TriMech is also featured permanently on all Sam Hunt Racing race cars on the lower front quarter panel for the 2026 season.
